DESCRIPTION: The HealthPoint HopeBox Derby returns to northern Kentucky on September 12, 2009. The race, which benefits the Pike Street Clinic in Covington, will take place on Wright’s Summit Parkway behind National City (off Dixie Hwy) in Fort Wright, Kentucky. More than 20 soapbox cars are expected to participate. Other activities include an open car show, children’s games, food, raffle.
In 2008, the HopeBox Derby raised more than $40,000 for the Pike Street Clinic, an important organization that provides medical care for northern Kentucky’s homeless population.
